YOUR PROFILE
You hold a Bachelor of Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering;
You are a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick;
A minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in the areas described is preferred;
You are knowledgeable in environmental regulations;
You possess previous field experience (i.e., sampling, supervision of drilling activities);
Training in Atlantic Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) would be an asset;
You are self-motivated, flexible, a team player, and are willing and able to work on a wide variety of projects;
You are proficient in MS Office;
You have good technical writing and critical thinking skills;
You have good communication skills, verbal and written; bilingualism is preferred;
You have a valid driver’s licence and a vehicle;
You are willing to occasionally travel within the province;
You have an ease of adaptation to various situations, the willingness to overcome design and site challenges, as well as good communication of project details in an active work environment.
Your Qualities
Complete Phases I, II and III environmental site assessment activities, including research, protocols, supervision of drilling or test pitting work, sampling (soil, water, air) and monitoring;
Complete hazardous material surveys and mould assessments;
Complete site remediation work;
Obtain environmental permits for watercourse and wetland alterations, water supply sources, occupancy, navigable waters and wellfield/watershed exemptions;
