YOUR PROFILE

  • You hold a diploma in Environmental Technology or a Bachelor of Civil Engineering;
  • You are a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists;
  • You have a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in the areas described is preferred;
  • You possess previous field experience (i.e., sampling, supervision of drilling activities);
  • Training in Atlantic Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) would be an asset;
  • You are self-motivated, flexible, a team player, and are willing and able to work on a wide variety of projects;
  • You are proficient in MS Office;
  • You have good technical writing and critical thinking skills;
  • You have good communication skills, verbal and written; bilingualism is preferred;
  • You have a valid driver’s licence and a vehicle;
  • You have an ease of adaptation to various situations, the willingness to overcome design and site challenges, as well as good communication of project details in an active work environment.

YOUR DUTIES

  • Complete Phases I, II and III environmental site assessment activities, including research, protocols, supervision of drilling or test pitting work, sampling (soil, water, air) and monitoring;
  • Complete hazardous material surveys and mould assessments;
  • Complete site remediation work;
  • Assist in writing reports and proposals;
  • Compile monitoring data;
  • Travelling (generally within the province).
