Community Involvement and Social Initiatives
Roy Consultants is committed to community excellence and partners with social endeavours that promote the well-being of people and businesses, while respecting the cultural, historical and environmental fabrics of each community it serves. Our geographical footprint is far-reaching, thus allowing us to make sustainable contributions to the development of many area communities.
Within this social initiatives portfolio, we aim to focus our collaborations towards:
- Helping organizations and champion leaders that promote local recreational and/or cultural events;
- Seeking partnerships and/or alliances with like-minded business entities and professionals, who share our vision for long-term sustainability and community growth;
- Supporting environmental projects, ideas and innovations, and promoting strong environmental stewardship values;
- Striving to mitigate and/or reduce our environmental footprint, which will help ensure a better tomorrow.
Broad Examples and Descriptions
- Provide in kind professional services to schools, municipalities and NPOs to support the completion of community and youth infrastructure and memorial or tourism sites;
- Promote active participation from our management and staff on community-based leadership boards and committees (health, education, commerce, professional bodies, environmental);
- Provide summer employment and internship opportunities to post-secondary students pursuing studies or a career in engineering or technology-related fields;
- Fund post-secondary education with a student bursary program;
- Participate in environmental remediation projects or offer environmental solutions to mitigate environmental risks and footprint.
